Church History

New Life Fellowship Church was started with a handful of people at home. That first meeting took place on August 24, 1996.

At that first meeting we had no building, no chairs, no sound system, or instruments, nothing but the belief that God would provide.  Within the week, we had a building, instruments, and pledged money for new chairs & lights. We also had what was needed to start repairing the building which was formerly a garage.  Praise God, how He does supply.  

There was much work, fun, and love put in that building.  On Sunday morning, September 1, 1996, we had our first service in our new church on Highway 51 North. From that day forward, “Just look at what God has done.”  

We soon outgrew our building, Praise God.  We began praying for a new building. God supplied our needs again.  Ten months after our church began we moved to our present location on Lakeview Drive .

God had a work and purpose for us. Almost immediately following our move we began our Children’s Bus Ministry.  We started with one bus and soon need another one. There was and still is a great need for ministry in this area.  There are so many children in this area that need to know that God loves and cares for them. Our Wednesday night service is devoted totally to this ministry. 

We also have a Prison Ministry which has been in place for 12 years. There is always a need for workers in this area.
